I’m not a Mad Men follower, but since its one of the most popular cable shows right now, I just couldn’t resist posting these really cool series of posters designed by Ben Whitesell. // Realmente no sigo la serie televisiva Mad Men, pero como es uno de los shows de cable más populares del momento, no me pude resistir poner esta serie de posters diseñadas por Ben Whitesell.

Imagine a complete library dedicated solely to indie art, well look no further, a new organization called the Art House Co-op has several projects where artists from all over the world can participate and have their art displayed and then archived for future visitors. How cool is that idea? Right now they have two projects going on, the Sketchbook project (basically defined as “It’s like a concert tour but with sketchbooks”) where for a fee they send you a black sketchbook where you can fill it up according to whatever theme you choose; and, the Pockets project where you send in all the clutter accumulated in your pockets, which is later on used as part of an on-going art installation. // Imagínate una biblioteca dedicada solamente al arte independiente, pues no busques más. Una nueva organización llamada Art House Co-op tiene varios proyectos donde artistas de alrededor del mundo pueden participar y tener su arte exhibido y despúes guardado para las futuras generaciones. La idea esta super genial, ahora mismo tienen dos proyectos abiertos, el primero se llama Sketchbook Project ( lo llaman “un tour de conciertos para cuadernos de dibujo) y el segundo se llama Pockets, donde puedes mandar todos las cositas que residen en tus bolsillos. Luego usan estos artículos para una instalación de arte.

Ok, so yeah, I have to admit, I love the books & the movies, something about vampires in these modern times just strikes a chord with me. But besides that, I am just mesmerized with the beautiful modern house used in the movie. The house is actually called the Hoke House (Portland, Oregon) and it was designed by architect Jeff Kovel via Skylab Architecture. This is what I call my all time dream home (I specially love Edward’s room). // Ok, tengo que admitirlo, me encanta los libros y las películas de Twilight. El tema de vampiros viviendo en estos tiempos modernos me super encanta. Pero además de eso, me quedé mesmerizada con la casa moderna usada en la película. La casa se llama Hoke House (localizada en Portland, Oregon) y fue diseñada por el arquitecto Jeff Kovel via Skylab Architecture. Esto es lo que llama mi casa ideal (me encanta especialmente la recámara de Edward).

I wanted to apologize for the lack of posts, I’ve been recently dealing with my beloved kitty cat being sick, in which I’ve been putting all my energies into nursing him back to health. So any good energy or prayers for my kitty cat Puzzle, will be much appreciated. In a happy note, the crib bedding I’ve designed for my future niece Nayelli is finally complete. Thanks to Ms. Kristi Harvey from Snuggle Bumper, my creative gift of love is finally done, and i’m super ecstatic. I’m just hoping my cousin loves it as well. // Disculpen mi falta en el blog, es que he estado lidiando con mi gatito enfermo. Asi que he estado de darle toda mi atencion para poder curarlo. Por favor manden sus buenas energias o rezos a mi gatito Puzzle para que se recupere.
