I’m not a Mad Men follower, but since its one of the most popular cable shows right now, I just couldn’t resist posting these really cool series of posters designed by Ben Whitesell. // Realmente no sigo la serie televisiva Mad Men, pero como es uno de los shows de cable más populares del momento, no me pude resistir poner esta serie de posters diseñadas por Ben Whitesell.

This is what I call very stylish popcorn bags courtesy of the Swedish design studio Milk. // Esto es lo que llamo bolsas de palomitas de maíz con mucho estilo. Los contenedores fueron diseñados por el estudio Sueco Milk.

How cool would it be to custom design your pillows, bedding and even your living room set online? Well, thanks to the room creator section of the Mod Green Pod, you can see how their awesome fabrics would look on furniture and even a cat. Also, the modern homewares store Inmod (found via Creature Comforts), lets you pick from their amazing collection of patterns and colors to design your own bedding. How cool is that?

No seria super fenomenal si pudieras diseñar tus cojines, sábanas ó hasta tu muebles para la sala por el internet? La buena noticia es que ya puedes por media de la sección “room creator” de Mod Green Pod. En su página web puedes ver como sus textiles fabulosos se ven en diferentes muebles y hasta en un gato. También la tienda Inmod (que encontré via Creature Comforts), te deja diseñar en su página web tu propios cojines y sobrecamas.

I’m so happy I was able to find this awesome french jewelry designer Calourette, I forgot what blog I spotted her designs at, but I just had to make a post about it. The swing necklace is just utterly cool, and the donut, well, I just want to eat it, so cool.

Estoy super contenta que pude encontrar a esta diseñadora de joyería francesa llamada Calourette. Se me olvidó en cual blog fue que vi uno de sus collares, pero no me pude resister escribir un post sobre su joyería. Me encanta su collar del columpio de madera, y sus collares de donas están super deliciosas.

I spotted the coolest paper collection with a vintage feel & wonderful color combos from Deena Rutter & Jen Allyson for My Mind’s Eye via Paper Crave.

Encontré via Paper Crave una colección de papelería super impresionante con un estilo vintage y combinación de colores super dinámicos cortesía de Deena Rutter y Jen Allyson para su tienda My Mind’s Eye.

This amazing Puerto Rican-Ecuadorian-New Yorker designer, Lorena Barrezueta, made these super cool necklaces using sign language graphics. I spotted some of her dinnerware design work via Creature Comforts, but when I visited her website I got incredibly mesmerized by these necklaces.

Esta maravillosa diseñadora puertorriqueña-ecuatoriana-newyorquina, Lorena Barrezueta, diseño estos collares super divinos usando gráficas del lenguaje de señas. Vi sus diseños de platos y vasijas en el blog Creature Comforts, pero cuando visité su sitio web estos collares me super, super encantaron.

These are the coolest maps I have seen in a long time courtesy of These Are Things, found via Design*Sponge. Its funny that I found this because for a while I been wanting to get a world map for my living room, but many maps are out there are just not visually appealing until I found these really cool ones.

This year I decided to be the DIY diva and created my own mother’s day cards for my mom & my aunt. The first one is for my mom who likes my illustrations and I decided to add a funny poem to it; The second one is for my aunt who is a super diva so I created her own personalized “work” schedule.

Este año decidí crear mis propias tarjetas de día de las madres para mi mamá y mi tía. La primera es para mi mamá a quien le encanta mis ilustraciones y decidí añadir un poema cómico a la tarjeta; La segunda tarjeta es para mi tía quien es una super diva asi que le diseñé su propio horario “laboral”.

As you know i’ve been dabbling with pattern design and this week I got my sample swatches from Spoonflower, love it! I just did a small tweek on my macaws fabric where I staggered them a bit more, instead of having them all straight. I love how the colors came out.

Como ya saben he estado probando mi creatividad diseñando patrones y esta semana me llegó por el correo mis muestras de tela de Spoonflower, me super encantan! Solo le hize un pequeño cambio a mi patrón de las guacamayas, donde les moví su posición original a un poco más estilo zig zag, en vez de tenerlas todas rectas. Me encanta como salieron los colores!
