papel picado
Papel picado is the Mexican art of papercutting into elaborate designs. The designs are commonly cut from tissue paper using a guide and small chisels, creating as many as forty banners at a time. This exceptional artist has a really cool portfolio of papel picado, check it out at Cut-it-out.

vintage stationery
One of the things that inspire me is the use of vintage illustrations, specially products that use collages of 1800′s botanical & garden almanac illustrations. Cavallini & Co. have a very unique collection of vintage cards, stationery, journals & even gift wrap that use this really cool illustrations.

your designs on fabric
I recently found this really cool website, Spoonflower, where you can have your designs printed on fabric, how cool is that? The first textile called “Pear Pops – Gumbo” was designed by Lolly Chessie, and the second one called “Sushi” was designed by thickblackoutline.
